052218 pentecostCANDLER — As is its tradition, St. Joan of Arc Church had even more reason to celebrate May 20 for Pentecost. The feast day calls close to its anniversary of 91 years as a parish and 11 years at the Candler location.
Parishioners come together as one community to celebrate the Mass and enjoy an annual picnic on the grounds. For those unable to be outside, the Mass was broadcast on a screen in the church.
Attendance for this annual celebration averages 350-400 people.
