MONROE — While people tend to focus on the landmark anniversaries, parishioners across the diocese often take the time to mark the smaller but no less important milestones of the clergy who inspire and lead them.
At Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Monroe, parishioners held a “Sweet 16” picnic-style party for their pastor, Father Benjamin Roberts.
On June 6, parishioners brought blankets and lawn chairs and enjoyed hamburgers and hot dogs to honor the happy occasion.
