CHARLOTTE — WSOC-TV Meteorologist John Ahrens visited Ms. Cosinda Gillison’s class at Our Lady of the Assumption School on March 2 to discuss his favorite topic — the weather.

The pre-kindergarten students have been studying and tracking the weather patterns in the Charlotte area for several weeks.

The students were able to talk with an expert about the causes and effects of small changes in our environment, and how they can quickly lead to good or bad weather.

Ahrens was impressed by the weather knowledge of the pre-k students.
