Teacher grants, teacher wish list items, and special awards for outstanding service all are made possible due to the overwhelming generosity of the CCHS family.

The Gala was co-chaired this year by Heather Dautel and Valerie McKernan. Their vision, leadership, and collaborative approach resulted in a very suc-cessful and enjoyable Gala.

“Every member of the 2019 Gala Committee truly was dedicated to the suc-cess of our event,” said Sally McArdle, Executive Director of the CCHS Ad-vancement Office. “Many long hours and many hands produced a wonderful evening for all. This is the Foundation’s most important fundraiser of the year for CCHS, and it was a huge success.”

The traditional Gala Live Auction was a significant part of the evening’s suc-cess.

“The Gala is such a wonderful opportunity for the Charlotte Catholic commu-nity to come together and celebrate CCHS,” said Principal Kurt Telford, who attended with his wife, Betty.

“The generosity of our parents never ceases to amaze me, and this evening is a terrific way to commemorate the many good things our parents do throughout our school. This is more than a party – it’s a great representation of the family that we are, and the faith that joins us together.”

Corporate Sponsors for Gala 2019 included Platinum Sponsors Choate Con-struction, TechSouth, and US Bank. They were joined by Gold Sponsors Arca-dia Homes, the Kelligrew Family, the PCI Group, Red Clay Industries, and Jim and Susan Sigman. Silver Sponsors were Arborscapes, Belmont Abbey Col-lege, J.G. Chempac, Moore & Van Allen, National Gypsum Company, Shea Cus-tom Homes, and the Terry Law Firm.

“We are so grateful for the corporate and parent support that enables us to serve the school,” said LynnErin Tyler, president of the Charlotte Catholic High School Foundation.“Our current board members are proud to be a part of the Foundation’s 45-year tradition of enhancing and enriching the devel-opment of our CCHS Community.”
