WINSTON-SALEM — St. Leo School’s student council sponsored a “Pie Toss” at the Annual Fall Festival that raised $482 for St. Laurence, a Catholic school in Houston, Texas, which has families impacted by Hurricane Harvey.
Students paid $1 for a chance to toss a pie at teachers or members of the student council including President Jack Semke. These are just two recent examples of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts, as each class has its own project planned.
