CHARLOTTE — Founders of Birthright Charlotte, a local chapter of Birthright International, are in the process of opening a pregnancy care center for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. Hank Chardos and his wife Sally opened a Birthright center in Columbia, S.C., 43 years ago.
They hope Birthright Charlotte will provide an alternative to women who are seeking an abortion.
