The annual CCHD national collection, which was held in November, provides grant funds to support non-profit organizations addressing the root causes of poverty. In the Diocese of Charlotte, the Local CCHD Grant Program is sponsored by Catholic Charities.

Thanks to the generosity of many donors across the Diocese of Charlotte who contributed to the CCHD Collection, last year Catholic Charities Diocese of Charlotte distributed 13 grants totaling $36,250.
Grantees came from 11 cities in the Diocese of Charlotte: Black Mountain, Brevard, Charlotte, Forest City (2), Greensboro (2), Hendersonville, Hickory, High Point, Jefferson, Lenoir and Winston-Salem.
