SALISBURY — Sacred Heart American Heritage Girls, Troop 3125, recently held an end-of-year awards ceremony.
Presented were 112 badges, four special awards, and 12 service stars. The troop was established in January by Erin Brinkley, a teacher at Sacred Heart School in Salisbury, and the troop now has 28 Tenderhearts and Explorers.

HICKORY — Members of St. Aloysius Church held their eighth annual Patriotic Rosary June 26. The prayer event was started eight years ago by Joan Moran (pictured in the back, center).
