MAGGIE VALLEY — Father Tri Troung, pastor of St. Joseph Vietnamese Church in Charlotte, recently led 125 of his parishioners on a pilgrimage to western North Carolina parishes.
The annual trip included a stop at St. Margaret of Scotland Church, where Father Tri shared with his parishioners the rich history of Catholicism in the area.
After their stop in Maggie Valley, the group went on to Cherokee to celebrate Mass at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, which is a mission of St. Joseph Church in Bryson City.
