CHARLOTTE — The Diocese of Charlotte’s Office of Campus and Young Adult Ministry partnered with the national Catholic Campus Ministry Association (CCMA) to host a professional development day Feb. 17 at the Diocesan Pastoral Center.
CCMA offers college campus ministers the opportunity to learn more about current issues and best practices in campus ministry from regional and national leaders.
Twenty-five campus ministers from the dioceses of Charlotte, Charleston, Raleigh and Savannah engaged in the day-long conversation about student leadership development.
Conventual Franciscan Father Michael Martin, director of the Duke Catholic Center and nationally recognized leader in Catholic Campus Ministry, facilitated the presentation and discussion.
The day focused on best practices to identify, develop and support strong Catholic student leaders for campus ministry.
