CHARLOTTE — The annual Operation Santa’s Helpers program provided food, clothing and Christmas presents to nearly 300 families in the Charlotte area on Dec. 17. This was made possible in large part to the efforts of volunteers from St. John Neumann Church, Charlotte Catholic High School and Acosta Sales and Marketing in Charlotte .
St. John Neumann pastor, Father Pat Hoare, was on hand to help assist volunteers from the church’s Knights of Columbus council, youth group and scouts along with others from the parish.
Charlotte Catholic’s Head of Campus Ministry, MJ Dawson, Director of School Technology, Beth Acitelli, Athletic Director, Kevin Christmas, and teacher and women’s basketball coach, Bobby Conrad coordinated more than 30 student volunteers who helped organize and make deliveries to the families.
