CHARLOTTE — Applications are now open for 2024 Catholic Campaign for Human Development grants to fund local projects that target the root causes of poverty and related social concerns.
Funded with 25% of the funds raised in the November CCHD Collection, Catholic Charities annually offers these local grants to fund non-profit projects in the Diocese of Charlotte that fight poverty at the grassroots level.
All grant applicants and projects are reviewed for conformity to Catholic social doctrine and require a local parish endorsement.
The grant applicant should request the letter of endorsement with enough time to include it with the application.
Grant guidelines and applications are available at www.ccdoc.org/cchd-crs. The deadline for receipt, via email, of grant applications is Thursday, Feb. 15.
