Last week I had the great good fortune to sit down for a Zoom interview with Jordan Peterson, Jonathan Pageau and John Vervaeke. Peterson, professor of psychology at the University of Toronto, is one of the most influential figures in the culture today. Pageau is an artist and iconographer working in the Orthodox Christian tradition, and Vervaeke is a professor of cognitive psychology at the University of Toronto. All three of these gentlemen have a powerful presence on social media.
In Colossians 2, St. Paul tells us that we are to walk in Christ, “be rooted in him and built upon him and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving. See to it that no one captivates you with an empty, seductive philosophy according to the tradition of men … and not according to Christ.”
