WINSTON-SALEM — Our Lady of Mercy Church in Winston-Salem was honored to be a part of sharing a relic of St. Maximilian Kolbe with the local community.
About 200 people came to venerate the third-class relic of the saint, on display March 16-17.
Conventual Franciscan Father Carl Zdancewicz, pastor, also held a prayer service March 16 for people dealing with addiction or family members and friends of those with addictions.
Approximately 100 people attended the service.
